Chili’s Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sirloin or flank steak
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 (8−inch) flour tortillas

Directions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, ground ginger and water together in a bowl.
  2. Place sirloin or flank steak in an appropriate-sized dish.
  3. Pour sauce (reserve ¼ cup) over steak.
  4. Cover and allow to marinate for at least two hours or overnight.
  5. Drain meat and slice into thin strips.
  6. Heat skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add drained meat, red bell pepper, green bell pepper and onion.
  8. Stir−fry just until meat is done, adding reserved marinade as needed to prevent sticking.
  9. Serve with warmed flour tortillas.
